Hotel Schoberhof: holiday between Bressanone and Chiusa
The Hotel Schoberhof is located in the village of Veltruno in the heart of the South Tyrolean Isarco valley between the town of Brixen and the alpine town of Chiusa. The house is located directly on the Brenner road and offers since 50 years a popular rest stop. Truckers, bikers, cycling holidays and group tours manage the hotel in Feldthurns on a regular basis. The house is suitable both as a holiday destination and as a stopover for travelers. In 1999, the structure has been extensively renovated and modernized. During the renovation works a hotel and a parking garage have been re-built. In the garage 100 parking spaces for motorcycles have been created and in consequence the Schoberhof became one of the most popular biker clubs in South Tyrol.

With the new hotel building at the Schoberhof 20 new rooms with comfortable amenities have been erected. There are single, double, triple and family rooms to choose from. All accommodations in Feldthurns are equipped with private bathroom with shower, toilet and hair dryer and a balcony from which you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. A couch makes for a cozy atmosphere and a television belongs to the basic equipment of the rooms. In remote driver circles the Schoberhof is known as conveniently located refreshment and accommodation facility. Attached there is a restaurant serving specialties from South Tyrol and Italian dishes. The rooms can be booked including breakfast or with half or full board.
Alpine idyll and cultural heritage in the heart of Isarco Valley
Schoberhof is located in the South Tyrol Isarco Valley in close proximity to scenic and cultural attractions. A lovely sight is the Schrambacher waterfall in the municipality of Feldthurns. From a height of 63 meters, the water of the stream rushes over a cliff edge in the depth and collects at the base in a small basin. On the trail of the past, you walk with a visit to the monastery Sabiona, to the Novacella Abbey and the Renaissance castle Felthurns. Only six kilometers from the hotel in Feldthurns lies the old town of Brixen with its medieval town center and its imposing cathedral and a short ride will take you to Bolzano. The attraction in the South Tyrolean provincial capital is the glacier mummy “Ötzi”, which you can admire at the Archaeological museum.
