Summer holiday in South Tyrol: free time activities in front of a high alpine scenery

A trip to the South Tyrolean provincial capital Bolzano takes you to the Archaeological museum of the city, where you can admire the 5,000-year-old glacier mummy “Ötzi”.

Numerous crystal clear mountain lakes and natural ponds invite in a summer holiday in South Tyrol to unlimited bathing fun one. On hot days the Caldaro and Monticolo lakes attract with a jump into the cool water. The waters are south of Brixen and the water temperatures reach in the summer months, values of up to 24 degrees. In front of a fantastic mountain panorama you can enjoy the natural swimming pond in Lüsen, the outdoor swimming pool in Feldthurns and the greenish shimmering Vahrnersee. Even a day trip to the romantic Garda lake in the neighboring Trentino is possible during your holiday on the Schoberhof. The nearby swimming pool in Klausen can be reached by bike along a marked cycle track.
