Schoberhof: traditional truck drivers stop in South Tyrol

Schoberhof at the old Brenner Road has a long tradition as a truck driver fail. Since the Schrambacher wine bar has been replaced by a new building in 1969, the truck stop has been established in the heart of South Tyrol as the most popular long-distance drivers restaurant on the Brenner axis. In remote driver circuits, the structure is known as the “On Rudi”. The inspiration for the naming was the owner of Rudolf Baur, who opened the inn under the name “Schoberhof Rudi”. After a complete renovation and a new hotel in 1999 welcomes the Schoberhof with comfortable rooms, a large, light-filled restaurant and a traditional Tyrolean bar.
